Hello, I am Peter Wilson and I will be running as a Candidate for Councillor for the Toowoomba Regional Council at the upcoming local Government elections on April 28th, 2012.

The people of the Toowoomba region are looking for change. They are tired of excuses and being taken for granted by all levels of Government. As a Councillor I will undertake to deliver a powerful voice on your behalf and a no nonsense approach to service delivery outcomes.

Peter Wilson – knows the region, understands the scale of the responsibility and has the skills and energy to deliver as a Councillor.

The Toowoomba region is worthy of much more capable representation and better leadership. Through the strength of a new dynamic team, we will get the little things right, we will give people access to rubbish dumps, we will fix our roads, we will mould policy around the fact that one size doesn’t fit all and we will get a range crossing.

The Toowoomba Regional Council holds around $3 billion in assets and annual turnover in excess of $300 million. This is a serious business and therefore it requires capable people with the right mix of skills to get things back on track for residents and businesses in the region.

The Local Government Elections gives us a perfect opportunity to build this new team, the new Toowoomba Regional Council; a Council that will build a reputation for “getting the right things done right - the first time.”
